International May Conference on Strategic Management (IMCSM) is a leading international conference in the field of general management. This conference is annually organized by Management Department of Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade.


The 17th International May Conference on Strategic Management – IMCSM21 have take place from May 28 – 30th, 2021. Due to the still acute situation with the global Covid 19 pandemic, the conference was organized online, using the ZOOM platform for the web conferences.

The official opening of the conference was on Saturday, May 29th, followed by a plenary session, after which authors presented their papers. The detailed program with the presentations schedule is available on this LINK.

All papers accepted for presentation at the IMCSM21 will be published in the IMCSM21 Book of Abstracts and in the IMCSM21 Book of Proceedings. Final version of the Book of abstracts is available on this LINK.

The papers submitted for publication in the IMCSM21 Book of Proceedings have been reviewed and revised versions of the papers have been compiled into two issues of the IMCSM21 Proceedings by the Scientific Board of the conference:

The platform that was used for communication and presentation of the papers was based on the Zoom software.

Plenary lecturers of the IMCSM21 conference were:


Associate Professor. Ing. Aleksandr KljučnikovPh.D., Rector of the University of Business and Law in Prague, Czech Republic. Also, a member of the Board of the University College of Business in Prague, Czech Republic, and an executive member of the Board of the Pan-European University, Bratislava, Slovakia. At the International May Conference on Strategic Management, Professor Ključnikov has presented the plenary lecture on the topic: “While usage of modern marketing channels positively affects innovativeness of firms, usage of traditional marketing channels does not affect innovativeness of firm. 


Assistant Professor. Veljko M. Mijušković, PhD, from theFaculty of Economics, Belgrade University, Serbia. His research fields are: logistics management, supply chain management and strategic management. At the International May Conference on Strategic Management, Professor Mijušković has presented the plenary lecture on the topic: ” How does the Covid-19 pandemic impact the performance of chosen logistics parameters?


Vojislav Genić, Managing Director of the SAP West Balkans, Belgrade, Serbia. At the International May Conference on Strategic Management, Mr. Ganić has presented the plenary lecture on the topic: ” SAP Concept of Intelligent  Enterprise – A new step in digitalization


As one of the sections of the IMCSM21, following Roundtable was organized:

NATIONAL AND REGIONAL STRATEGIES FOR RURAL NEETs SOCIAL INCLUSION

In frame of this years IMCSM2021 conference thematic  round table was organized, within special conference session: National and regional strategies for rural NEETs social inclusion (https://rnyobservatory.eu/web/2021/03/11/national-and-regional-strategies-for-rural-neets-social-inclusion-29th-may-2021/).

This round table was dedicated to the results of the COST CA18213 action:  Rural NEET Youth Network: Modeling the risks underlying rural NEETs social exclusion   (https://rnyobservatory.eu/web/)

Researchers form Technical faculty in Bor are members of this COST action, and have presented the results of the project research. This included presentation of the National report 2009-2019 – Rural NEET in Serbia, developed through the action research in 2020. Round table was addressing the NEETs needs in this part of Eastern Serbia. Finding potential solution through strategic national activities that can be coordinated by the local government, unemployment offices and educational institutions, have been discussed.

Organizers of the conference are happy to announce that the International May Conference on Strategic Management will be submitted to be covered by the Clarivate Analytics. The conference is already indexed in the EBSCOhost database, and in previous years was indexed in the Web of Science. WoS requires renewal of submission for each year, therefore, the Book of proceedings of the IMCSM2021 will be submitted to be indexed in the Clarivate Analytics Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science, this year as well.


Selected papers from the conference will be published in Serbian Journal of Management – SJM an international journal for theory and practice of Management science. Serbian Journal of Management is covered by SCOPUS, EBSCO and SCImago database (SJR = 0.27 – Q3).

Also, there is possibility to publish selected manuscripts of the conference in the journal The Acta Oeconomica Universitatis Selye , which is indexed in ERIH PLUS base.

Abstracts: abstracts of the papers and reports should be submitted in English language (for authors from Serbia also in Serbian language). The abstracts should be prepared in following style and shall contain: title (font Times New Roman, Bold, Capital Letters, 14pt, centered), authors’ names and addresses (Times New Roman, Bold, 12pt, Italic, centered), text not exceeding 1800 characters (Times New Roman, Normal, 12pt, justified) with margins: top and left – 30mm, bottom and right – 25mm, in A4 format (210х297 mm).

Full Manuscripts: Full length papers should be submitted in English or Serbian language. Full length manuscripts should be submitted to the           e-mail djnikolic@tfbor.bg.ac.rs    or to the e-mail  imihajlovic@tfbor.bg.ac.rs
