I<\/strong>nternational M<\/strong>ay C<\/strong>onference on S<\/strong>trategic M<\/strong>anagement (IMCSM<\/strong>) is a leading international conference in the field of general management. This conference is annually organized by Management Department of Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade. This was a 14th year<\/strong> of the conference.<\/p>\n

IMCSM18<\/b>, was organized from May 25 – 27th, 2018. The conference was organized in the city of Bor.<\/p>\n

The organizers of the IMCSM18 conference wish to express their gratitude to Viktor Shebashev, the rector of the Volga State University of Technology, Yoshkar-Ola, Russian Federation, who sent a welcome letter in which he greets the participants of the IMCSM18 conference. The welcome letter can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the last day of the conference, a round table discussion was organized on the topic of: \u201cPublic participation in making decisions about the environment – impact study and strategic impact study<\/strong>“. This roundtable was organized in cooperation with the Association of Young Researchers of Bor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Serbian Journal of Management is covered by SCOPUS<\/a>,<\/strong> EBSCO<\/a> and SCImago database (SJR = 0.19)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Also, there is possibility to publish selected manuscripts of the conference in the journal The Acta Oeconomica Universitatis Selye<\/a> , which is indexed in ERIH PLUS base.<\/p>\n

The assistant professor, Dr. Hesam Dehghani<\/strong> was born in 1982 in Iran. He has received BEng in Mining Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran in 2005 and his MEng from the Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran in 2007 and PhD from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2012. As a member of the Department of Mining Engineering, Hamedan University of Technology, he teaches some graduate as well as undergraduate courses, including mineral economics, principles of mining, drilling and blasting, mine simulation and ore-body modeling. His research area includes mine planning and mineral projects evaluation, real option valuation, risk management and application of Operations Research in the mineral industry. He has published more than 50 papers in various national and international journals and conferences. At the IMCSM18, professor Dehghani presented the research on the topic of: “Evaluation of the mining projects under economic uncertainties using Real Option Valuation”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prof. dr Lela Risti\u0107<\/strong> is an associate professor at the University of Kragujevac – Faculty of Economics, Republic of Serbia. Her main research interests are: sustainable agricultural and rural development; integral development of agriculture, rural areas and tourism; agricultural and rural policy; agribusiness management etc. She is teaching: Economics of Agriculture (bachelor studies); Tourism and Agribusiness (master studies); Economics of Sustainable Development and Management of Rural Development (doctoral academic studies). Lela Risti\u0107 is an author or coo-author of 17 articles published in the scientific journals, 35 papers at the national and international conferences, 9 chapters and 4 textbooks. She is a reviewer of the conferences and scientific journals and a member of the professional bodies. She was a mentor or a member of the commission of more than 150 final exams, 20 master and two PhD theses, participant of a few projects and the Faculty Exchange Program 2003 in Agricultural Economics in the USA. At the Conference IMCSM18, she presented the research on the topic: \u201c<\/strong>Management of agricultural and rural development in the Republic of Serbia\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Petra Gro\u0161elj<\/strong> is assistant professor at the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Slovenia. She graduated at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana. She received the Ph.D degree in economics of natural resources from the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. She has published 24 scientific articles. Her main research interests are multi-criteria decision-making, particularly analytic hierarchy process, group decision making and fuzzy logic. At the IMCSM18 she presented the research on the topic of: \u201cConsensus model in analytic hierarchy process<\/strong>\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr Aleksandra Fedajev<\/strong> is an assistant professor at the University of Belgrade, Technical faculty in Bor, Republic of Serbia. Her main research interests are: business economics, financial analysis, multi-criteria analysis, sustainable development, foreign trade, business environment, economic development, economic policy, transition etc. She is teaching: Fundamentals of business economy, Fundamentals of market economy and Planning and control of costs (bachelor studies). Aleksandra Fedajev is an author or coo-author of 13 articles published in the scientific journals, 51 papers at the national and international conferences, 4 chapters and 1 textbooks. She is a reviewer of the scientific journals and a member of the organizational board of International Symposium on Environmental and Material Flow Management \u2013EMFM<\/strong>. She was a mentor or a member of the commission of numerous final exams, master and PhD theses. At the Conference IMCSM18, she presented the research on the topic: \u201cComparative analysis of business environment in CEE and SEE countries<\/strong> using the PROMETHEE method\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
